KEISUKE YOSHIZAWA is an electronic musician and keyboard performer based in London.
Born in Shitamachi — the old downtown of East Tokyo — he grew up surrounded by the sounds of narrow streets, craftsmen’s workshops, and seasonal festivals. From primary school, he commuted to Jimbocho — Tokyo’s historic quarter of bookshops, publishers, and universities — where contrasting worlds of tradition and intellect shaped his early sensibility.
At twenty, he began performing in bands, going on to play at music festivals in Japan and tour four cities in China.
For nearly six years, he worked at Sony’s medical imaging division as a sales and marketing professional, travelling to hospitals across every region of Japan. Those years on the road gave him an intimate knowledge of the country’s diverse landscapes and local cultures, and the daily reality of medical environments where sound, silence, and human vulnerability intersect.
In 2024, he moved to London. Letting go of everything he had built, he began working as a solo electronic artist, searching for his own sound. He found it in the space between stillness and impulse.
His debut album “Zero” and single “polarisation” are available on all major streaming platforms.
In performance, he throws his whole body into the keys. Between stillness and impulse, the sound is alive.
